Fire engulfs home in South Hall displacing three

Hall County Fire Rescue responded to a call that a home was on fire in the 3300 block of Windward Gate in South Hall on Friday morning, April 8.

Firefighters arrived at the scene of the residential fire just after 11 a.m. and found a two-story home that was approximately 50% consumed by flames. To help fight the blaze, Hall County Fire Rescue brought in an aerial truck.

At approximately 1:30 p.m., firefighters had extinguished the fire and cleared the scene.

The origin of the fire that displaced two adults and a child is unknown at this time. The Hall County Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the fire to determine the cause.

No injuries were reported.
