DULUTH — Two Gwinnett County nonprofits have received a financial boost thanks to a $7,500 grant from the Capital City Bank Group Foundation.

The foundation awarded funds this year to the Good Samaritan Health Center of Gwinnett and Gwinnett Habitat for Humanity as part of its 2025 grant cycle. The donations aim to support ongoing efforts to improve quality of life in the community.

The Capital City Bank Group Foundation is a nonprofit established in 1983 by Capital City Bank Group, Inc. The foundation has provided charitable donations annually for the past 42 years across its service areas in Florida, Georgia and Alabama.

“Supporting organizations that create meaningful impact in our communities aligns with the mission of the Capital City Bank Group Foundation,” said Mike Fulton, Capital City Bank president for Gwinnett County. “We are honored to help strengthen our community through the dedication of our bankers and financial contributions that support lasting, positive change.”

The foundation provides grants to organizations classified as tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Funding priorities include arts and culture, youth services, economic and community development, education, health and human services.
