Coach’s comments

“It was a great way to start the season for sure. I thought we had some great approaches at the plate, working the count , and not getting ourselves out on pitch selection. The main highlight for me was to be back together as a Family on the field. It was pretty cool to see the Pickens twins each hit a home run in a single game. It was great to see Kadyn Gabrels hit her first Varsity home run. Our Seniors are doing an excellent job on the field as well as the locker room leading this team. I thought Stanton and Williams threw the ball well for us. We are excited about the upcoming season. Looking forward to watching what we work on in practice show up in games.”

The Wolves will continue in the Rumble at the Ridge tournament Saturday, Aug. 12, against Cherokee Bluff at 9 a.m. and Campbell at 1 p.m. at the Buford Softball Complex.
