The potential for Hurricane Ian to affect the north Gwinnett area as it moves inland at the end of the week has led the Buford Community Center to postpone an outdoor concert.
“We regret to announce that, due to the current circumstances of Hurricane Ian, we have to postpone the Jake Owen October 1st concert,” the announcement stated. “We will post any updates as soon as possible. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. Thank you for your understanding.”
Gov. Brian Kemp has declared a State of Emergency statewide ahead of the storm.
