BES on parade to inspire a new generation of community helpers

IMG_8271.jpgEach year kindergartners at Buford Elementary School get to dress up and parade through the halls of the school to cheers from their families.  The Community Helpers Parade wraps up their study of people who are community helpers like police officers, nurses, teachers, and more. Each student is encouraged to dress up as a community helper for the parade.

Parents and grandparents lined the halls of Buford Elementary School early on the morning of Friday, September 6 to see their favorite little community helper parade through the halls.  It was cuteness overload as little firemen, police officers, mail carriers, nurses, teachers, construction workers, and even a politician or two proudly showed off their attire to their parents.
