Junior Ashley Sturzoiu led Buford’s offense against Marist on Thursday evening at Marist. Buford beat Marist with set scores of 25-15, 25-15, 25-11 to win this match.
Offensive standouts for Buford were Sturzoiu (15 kills), Mikayla Hayden (9 kills) and Kiana Polk (9 kills).
Sophomore Ella Jane Williams and junior Dylan Cummings were both outstanding on the defense.
Junior Polly Cummings had an impressive 41 assists in the game against Marist.
Buford volleyball improves to 10-1 on their season.
Next Tuesday, Aug. 31, Buford hosts GAC and South Forsyth at the Buford High School Athletic Building.
